In-House Prayer Team
(001) Altar Prayer: 8:30 service - Volunteers pray with those who come forward for personal prayer or prayer for someone else, during or at the end of a worship service. Volunteers are NOT counselors but are trained to pray for many different kinds of needs, to share the love of Christ with those who are hurting. (002) 11 AM service (same). Commitment: at least one service per month.

(003) Prayer for the Services (Hedge Ministry): Volunteers pray in small groups for the worship services going on at their chosen time as well as for the Discipleship classes. Commitment: at least one service per month.

(004) Ministry Prayer Partners: These volunteers receive information from all of Frazer’s ministries by email or regular mail once a month and are asked to pray for them weekly. This undergirds our staff and all the ministry activities planned throughout the year.

(005) Upper Room Intercessors: Our Upper Room volunteers have a heart for people and a burden to take their needs before the Lord. They receive requests several times per week (sometimes daily). These requests arrive by email and the volunteer’s responsibility is to pray for each one as soon as possible, asking God to lead you as you pray.

(006) Heart Notes: Heart Notes volunteers send out personal prayer notes and/or sympathy cards to individuals who have requested prayer. This is one of the ways we can personally touch those for whom the Upper Room volunteers are praying. Commitment varies, about once/month.

(007) Email Intercessors: Like the Heart Notes volunteers, the Email Intercessors are reaching out to those who have sent requests, but their requests originate mostly from our website and have only email contact information. Volunteers respond with a prayer they write on email. Commitment varies, about once/month.
(008) Prayer Shawl Ministry: The Prayer Shawl volunteers serve using their skills of crocheting and/or knitting to bless someone in need. As they make the shawl, they pray for the person who will receive it and for God to meet their need – healing, comfort as they grieve, and other difficult circumstances. The group meets twice per month and volunteers also work on their shawls at home.

(009) Prayer for Special Events: This Prayer Ministry prays for several community and church-wide events during the year and where there is a need for volunteers to pray for these events. 

(010) Lead or (011) Join a Prayer Group: Frazer members are joining and/or hosting prayer groups around the Tri-County Area, praying for their cities, their neighborhoods, our nation and government, first responders, our military, Israel, our schools and so much more. We would love to know what God is doing in and through current prayer groups and be able to steer new volunteers in your direction. If you have an established group, please email your leader contact info and your focus (such as military or Wetumpka, etc.) to BJ Nave at bjnave@frazer.church. 

(012) Stations of the Cross during Holy Week (April 1-5, 2026). Commit to set-up, greeting, clean-up, and other needs during this event.

(013) National Day of Prayer (May 7, 2026). Commit to joining us in the Chapel to pray over our nation. Other special prayer emphasis TBD.

Help provide the technical support needed for an effective worship environment on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night rehearsals. Both 8:30 and 11 AM services are required on day of serving. Serving opportunities: (115) Audio Engineer, (116) Broadcast Audio Engineer, (117) Audio Assistant, (118) Lighting Designer, (119) Stage Hands, and (120) Stage Manager. Serve on rotation no more than two Sundays each month. Rehearsals 7 PM Wednesdays (required), (121) tech assistant (supports AV needs across campus, setting up Microphones, TVs, projectors in various rooms). The tech will ensure equipment is ready for classes, meetings and presentations so that everything runs smoothly. Contact: tech@frazer.church

(122) Production Assistant/Auxiliary: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) This position is a perfect place to start in our media ministry. The Auxiliary is in charge of advancing our planning center clock to help keep our service running on time and to make sure all our recordings and live streams kick-off at the right time. (123) Broadcast Sound Assist: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) This position monitors the audio from the broadcast audio mixer and ensures that they stay within acceptable volume levels. They also ensure that audio feeds are set to go to our recordings, live streams, and atrium feeds. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church
(124) Shader: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) This position monitors the camera feeds and operates the camera control units to make sure that the exposure (light levels) stay within acceptable levels. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church
(125) Camera 1/3: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) Cameras 1 & 3 are the positions on the left and right sides of our worship center. These vital positions require focus and the ability to follow instructions given by the director. Operators need to have a steady hand and must pay attention to both the director and the worship service. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church
(126) Camera 2: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) Camera 2 is the “hero cam” that is principally in charge of getting the main shots of the worship leader(s) and preacher(s). This position requires you to be able to climb a ladder down into the position where the robotic controls for the camera are located at the front of the balcony. (127) Pro Presenter/Graphics: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) This position operates the “Pro Presenter” graphics application to display lyrics, videos, scripture, photos, and other graphics on the screen. Pro Presenter operators must be acquainted with the basics of operating a computer. This position requires someone who can maintain cool under pressure, take feedback well, and maintain focus throughout our worship services. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church
(128) Switcher: 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. (Training provided) This position operates the switcher, the device that acts as the “brain” of the video production. They take instructions from the director and assist the director in choosing shots by watching for exposure and focus issues. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church
(129) Director: (by invitation ONLY; experience required) 1 Sunday/month from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM + one 5th Sunday a year. Volunteers who have shown dedication and skill in other areas of the media ministry may be invited to be directors. The director calls the shots in the control room, instructing the cameras, graphics, shader, etc. The director must be able to stay cool under pressure, take input from different people, and give clear directions. They must take feedback well and remain willing to improve from month to month. This position will also operate the switcher in the absence of a switcher. Contact: Will Adams at wadams@frazer.church

Devotional speakers: We are looking for volunteers who are willing to share a 3–5 minute devotional during game days. This devotional time is an opportunity to share with parents, children and attendees about God’s character and how He is at work today.

Sports & Fitness - Activity Center: (321) Front desk workers: Volunteers who are interested in meeting, serving, and assisting people are needed to help with the front desk of the Activity Center. Answer phone calls, take messages, open the doors for guests, and assist visitors with the check-in process. A specific need is in the afternoon from 1-4 PM.

Global Mission Trips: Join us in sharing the Gospel around the world! Potential trips include (325) Cuba, (326) Kenya, and (327) Scotland, with trips typically lasting between 7-10 days.

Backpack Ministry: Partner with Chisholm, Dalraida, and Wares Ferry elementary schools to provide food for children facing food insecurity on the weekends from September through May. Serving opportunities include: (331) shop: assist staff with shopping, picking up, and/or dropping off food at the Activity Center. Commitment is 1x/month, (332) pack: meet on Wednesday afternoons or Thursday mornings in the Activity Center. Commitment is 1x/month, (333) deliver: load and deliver bags to your assigned school on Thursdays. Commitment is 1x/month, (334) collect: empty collection carts and bring donations to the Activity Center on Collection Sundays (1st Sunday of each month). Commitment is 1x/month.

Adoption/Foster Care Ministry:  (335) Prayerfully consider taking classes through DHR to become a foster parent, (336) provide prayer, support, meals, and/or needed items for Frazer foster families, (337) meet with a team to consider ways Frazer can show love and support for DHR staff, (338) provide a one-time dinner for those taking a DHR TIPS class to become licensed foster parents.

Men's Prison Ministry:  (339) Share a Gospel message on Tuesday nights with men incarcerated at Kilby Correctional Facility. Commitment is 1-2x/month. Training required. (340) Kairos Prison Ministry: Spend one weekend a year ministering to inmates at Staton Correctional Facility. Training required.

English as a Second Language:  Help provide free classes to those in our community seeking to strengthen their English language skills. Classes are held from 7-8:30 PM on Tuesday nights from September through May in the Activity Center. Commitment is 1x/week. Serving opportunities include (341) teacher/assistant teacher, (342) registration and testing, and (343) hospitality and events team. No foreign language knowledge required.

Foster Care Angel Tree:  Help provide Christmas gifts for children in foster care in Montgomery County. Serving opportunities include (344) gift sign-up: assist individuals in choosing a gift from a child’s wish list, (345) gift collection: assist individuals returning their purchased gift, and (346) gift wrapping: wrap and organize gifts before they are returned to DHR.

(363) Renovate housing: Basic building trade skills helpful, but not required.
(364) Adult Programs: Provide mentoring and support to individuals seeking a pathway out of poverty; training provided. 
(365) Children’s Programs: Support the educational, emotional and spiritual development of children in the neighborhood through after school and summer programs. 
(366) Work Day: in the spring and fall, help with landscape and general clean-up around Transformation Montgomery and the Garden Square neighborhood.
