Alcoholics Anonymous (Sole Purpose "Metro")

The Sole Purpose Group of Alcoholics Anonymous, commonly referred to as "Metro," holds closed meetings. In support of A.A.'s singleness of purpose, attendance at closed meetings is limited to persons who have a desire to stop drinking. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome to attend meetings of the Sole Purpose Group. The format for the Thursday night meeting is an A.A. literature study. In this meeting we read and discuss from the basic text of the A.A. fellowship, Alcoholics Anonymous. We also read and discuss from another source of A.A. literature, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. The Sunday night meeting is a discussion format, in which the chairperson selects a topic from A.A. literature. No registration required.
